Types of Outdoor Landscape Lighting

Different types of lighting for landscapes are: up lighting, down lighting, accent lighting, silhouetting, shadowing, moonlighting, cross lighting, and path lighting.

Here is an example of illuminated topiaries. Absolutely Bushed Landscaping took these photos; trying to get good photos in the dark was not an easy task.  We will have to take a photography course one day.

There is also path lighting next to the entrance to the home. It can be difficult to see where you’re stepping at night. Pathway lighting is a great idea to prevent trips in the dark.  When you have better lighting for your front or backyard – it’s even more enjoyable for children to play hide and seek. Or practice those soccer moves.
